Maid of the Mist is the ferry boat that takes you near both the American and Niagra Falls. It was windy, wet, and at moments frightening at least I thought so. When we were viewing Niagra, it seems like we kept moving closer and closer. It was pretty spectacular!
Here we are getting our ponchos on.
Aubrey looking so cute in blue.
Here is the platform that you have to cross to get to the elevators that take you down to be loaded on to the Maid of the Mist.
Connor slightly ticked. Gotta love camping hair.
Ponchos round two. The Cave of Winds, is basically a boardwalk that takes you right next to the American Falls. Mike and Aaron chose to get pounded on by the water up on the higher levels of the boardwalk. I stayed below and got some great pictures. I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't actually a cave. Pretty deceptive if you ask me.

looks like a way fun trip!
That is such a memorable trip, especially going down into the falls. Your kids will always remember that. I'm so glad that you got to such a great place.
Your past few posts remind me of the trip Jon and I made a couple of years ago. Our night in Niagara Falls is seriously on the top of our favorite experiences together. And I LOVED the church history sites.
It's great that you're seeing these sights before you come join us on the west side.
