Turkey time

One of the amazing things about this neighborhood is wildlife. Deer, squirrels, racoons, birds, and believe it or not, we have these wild turkeys that come around. We saw some when we first moved in last August and now we have a momma turkey with a couple young babies. This is my neighbor's house across the street. Turkey anyone?

Yes, I'll have mine cooked slowly in the oven with butter rubbed on the outside, please.
Actually, I'll bet you could get a wild turkey permit to kill one and have it for Sunday dinner. Although Rose's husband said wild turkey doesn't taste quite as good as the tame Norbest turkeys we are all used to.

So I dare you to go catch one and have a REAL Thanksgiving dinner!
