Update and More Pictures

As many of you know, Jen had to go back into the hospital to get her gallbladder removed. The operation was successful, and we have the 5 little gallstones to prove it! (Small but lethal little things).

While all of you readers are anxiously awaiting Jennifer's official post after the birth, I thought I would put up a few more cute pictures.

Sorry I don't have more of Jen...she hasn't been feeling up to taking too many pictures.

Introducing Aubrey Elizabeth!

3550 grams and 52 cm long (7 lbs 12 oz, 20 1/2 inches)

Mom and Baby are doing great. Jen, I am sure, will post some more about the experience, but I thought you readers (all 5 of you) would like to know now. Here are some more pictures...the next post will have a video...(after the birth...after!)

The boys have not seen her yet, but they were really excited today. Today Connor said over breakfast that he was so excited for Aubrey to come...he was going to show her how to walk, how to crawl, and how to watch TV!

Jen was at the hospital (she was induced, but it was going slow), and I had already come home to watch the boys. Jen called soon after I got home and said I better get back there. Aaron practically shoved me out the door...he said "I'll open the door for you" and "OK, now I will turn the light on for you" (in our entryway)..."now bye...see you later". = )
Can't wait to take them to the hospital tomorrow!

Wann kommt baby Aubrey Elizabeth?

7 out of 10 women deliver after their due date.
I guess I will always be one of those women!
Here are a few "full bloom" pictures.

When is baby Aubrey coming? The boys are anxious and excited for her arrival.

Aaron took this picture. He is quite the photographer. I love this picture.

You just gotta love the viewpoint of a four year old. Connor's picture really accentuates the positive...or should I say not so positive?
Our next post will most definitely be of Aubrey and hopefully it will be in a few days!

Super Cool!

Mike and Connor went out for a ride last Saturday to test out Connor's bike. Cool man!

Makin' faces and still lookin' cool!

A Special Sunday

Last year, Mike baptized a young man, Cristian, and on Mother's day, Cristian's younger brother, Bryon, and younger sister Edelweiss, were baptized. Mike baptized Bryon and then Cristian baptized Edelweiss. We've had the opportunity to have the Encalada family in our home for family home evenings and for discussions and it's been really neat to see and feel the light of Christ in these children. There was no doubt that they wanted to be baptized and follow the Savior. It was really special to witness their baptisms.

Aaron earns his Tiger badge. Way to go Aaron!

We've had a busy last few weeks with cub scouts but last Saturday was a special day for Aaron. After his last required Go See It, Aaron earned his tiger badge along with the rest of his den. The boys have enjoyed a year of den meetings, family activities, and cub scout field trips. We've enjoyed getting to know some of the families in scouting here in Germany and Aaron has enjoyed making friends in his den. Aaron has also been working on earning a few belt loops. Badminton...believe it or not and also bicycling. Go Aaron! The den is having an overnight camping trip the first weekend in June and Aaron is really excited to go.
